• 26/8/24: The more I stare at other sites' update logs, the more I realize mine is way too extensive. Who cares? Anyways, today I filled in the caracter sheet that's on the about section of the page. It was fun!
• 25/8/24: Whereas there used to be placeholder "Lorem Impsum"s only yesterday, today, I wrote stuff for the links and the about sections of this page. I'm absolutely not done, but I think I've made some good progress here. Trying to take this project one thing at a time.
• 24/8/24: So... I decided TO REMAKE THE ENTIRE FUCKING WEBSITE. Looking at all the other cool sites on the here, I couldn't help but feel like mine was absolute garbage. My excuses for it was that the old site design, in all its simplicity, was actually an accurate representation of who I am. I mean, that's the whole point, right? Personal web and all? The more I think about it, the more I realize that it was only in its banality that me and the site could relate. I was feeding into the self-fulfilling prophecy... and I didn't even have a well put-together site to show for it! So, I am remaking EVERYTHING. Click here to view the old site.
• 15/8/24: I wrote A LOT for the Pokémon page. Like, excessively so. At first, I wanted to have the important information for my imaginary fangame lie at the Pokémon's section front page, with the less essential stuff like the new Pokémon be in sub links at the bottom of the page. The, I realized, I write too much (if you couldn't tell already from this info page). That's why I decided that the Pokémon page would be a sort of portal that leads into multiple articles, arranged like chapters in a book. I also made it so that the articles would each have a different background. I thought that would reduce boredom.
• 9/8/24: Started working on the Pokémon page.
• 5/8/24: There was a bug on this page wherein the text couldn't be selected and the links in navigation didn't work. My brother's a professional programmer so I just asked him to fix it for me lol. So far he's helped me 5 seperate times for this project. I don't like needing to be helped, but often times, the things he helps me with end up being things I couldn't have figured out on my own. Like, what the heck is "z-index"?!!
• 3/8/24: Made THIS info page from scratch! A lot whole lot of sites have about pages, but I don't like introducing myself, so I opted for an info page with n update log and other information I'd like to add later on.
• 2/8/24: Made the site mobile-friendly, barely. It's very clunky but at least it works! Polished some stuff and went to sleep...
• 1/8/24: This is the day where most of the aesthetic groundwork was laid. I polished the basic CSS file I had practically plagerized from James and even, in the throse of my ambitions, I made the (objectively stupid) decision to make another site theme. Because I didn't know any Javascript, that meant I had to make a whole other HTML for every page of the site. Thankfully, there weren't many to beggin with, only two, but stil! This is why the info page only has one theme. Also, I wrote my first useless block of text from the "Thing" section.
• 31/7/24: The day I created this website! The very, very bare bones of this site were put in place, by literally following James Wright's three HTML and CSS tutorials. I have 0 coding/programming experience. I'm figuring it out as I go. Still, at the end of that day, the site looked NOTHING like what it does now. I'm proud of the progress I've made since then. You can still find the vestiges of this site's begginings in the "Page Not Found" page.

Games

• This is unironnically how I learnt how emulators work. Now I have Pokemon Black, Heartgold, Kirby and GTA Chinatown Wars on a USB I can connect to any PC. Yes, even school computers ;)
• A short puzzle indie game. One of my passtimes back then was to watch the Devlogs of aspiring gamedevs participating in Game Jam. Now I'm actually directly playing those games instead of watching from afar. And it's fun! You should try it, starting with this simple, short game you can lay directly on your browser.
• 10 Second Mixtape. I've always told myself that if I HAD to choose a scientific field to persue into my adulthood (eww), I would be a Game developper. I guess that shows how adament I am about creativity sbsolutely being a part of my carrier. This game, to me, definitly is a demonstration of that. This is the kind of concept I would've never thought of in a million lifetimes. I love the idea of collaborating with strangers I will never meet, making a quick melody with them and having other strangers judge our work. It makes me love humanity even more than I already do. And I love music! This also, you can play on your browser, no need to download anything.
• This, however, you would need to download. It's a strategy game about protecting your kingdom from invasions in a limited about of time. It's called "The King Is Watching". I played it on the lunch table of my living room, while my mother was watching a Ted Bundy docuseries on the TV. It was almost ethereal, looking back. I was so focused in on the game, I tried and tried countless times to beat, and it never felt frustrating. It's engagng enough that you can't keep your eyes of the screen, but there was also enough room for me to pick up a few Ted Bundy fun facts from the TV. It's not the kind of game you'll replay after beating, but it's worth it nonetheless.
